I make my Mezuzahs from Olive Wood from Israel. The Mezuzahs are coated with a waterproof clear coat. The scroll is kept in the Mezuzah with a black cap , which sits on the top.
The size is 5.25 ” tall, 1.25″ wide and .75″ thick. 2 brass screws for mounting are included.
